burning-money-2I believe that the operative words will soon be: I TOLD YOU SO!
Buried in headlines today is a little revelation: the government is pulling in less money.
So was all of this spending a good idea?  Is the $1.5 trillion budget a wise idea?  Yes, because when you are losing money, the best strategy is always to just go on a spending spree.
When I got laid off and had to take a 20% cut in pay just to stay employed, I went out and refurnished my house, bought a new car, a new wardrobe, and got myself a big screen TV.  And not a little LCD thing.  I got me a BFTV.  Do I sense sarcasm?  Of course.
The point is we elect these people under the assumption that they will actually know what the hell they are doing.  That is so not the case.  In most cases we’d be better served by a rabid, inarticulate gorilla with a propensity to hump telephone poles.
So I would really like to see Obama keep this promise: “I can make a firm pledge,” he said in Dover, N.H., on Sept. 12. “Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes.” “you will not see any of your taxes increase one single dime.”
If we continue to see this Vegas-styled inebriated spending spree coupled with the decline in revenue, it won’t be long before Obama rescinds that promise.  Good luck, comrades.
