The weeping cry of (true) conservatives everywhere is that Obama and his cronies are after only one thing: Government Expansion.

You can’t really say that (true) conservatives are crying wolf.

Of course with all of the money being spent, all of the seizures and investments being made into (what really only formerly was) the private sector, Obama is asking for what?  More Power!

This all seems like an episode of “Home Improvement” with Obama as Tim ‘the Tool Man’ Taylor.  All we need to wait for is the catastrophe that always ensues.

All this to “fix” the financial market.  Yeah, the government really has proved itself the financial whiz in the past, hasn’t it…

Not really.

Anyway, so we obviously have flaws in the financial sector.  So instead of really figuring out where those flaws are (which I am willing to hedge bets are greatly in where and what the government regulates currently…) and correcting those flaws, Obama and congress are wildly flailing government power and money around telling us with each billion that it should be all we need.

Wait!  We need another trillion!!!

If the fundamentals are so strong, then why does congress and Obama insist on continuing to try and alter them?

The fundamentals are strong.  But the democrats in power at the moment don’t really care about that.  In fact, as shown by the gleeful Obama joking regarding the very crisis he touts as so dire that we will perish economically, what the dems in power care about is being able to use this situation to pass all of their agendas through with a blazing ferociousness.  “It’s all for our own good,” they’ll tell us.

Never saw Bush laughing at peoples’ hardships.  Regardless of what one may think of the man, he had feeling and a sense of humor about himself.

And democrats and liberals continue to say to me, “thank God Bush is gone.”

I’ll just keep letting them believe that.  Because they know not what they have done.
